There will be an election to determine the three nominees who shall be sent to Judge Orlando F. Hudson in consideration for appointment as Durham’s next Public Defender. The candidates and links to bios are below.
ONLY DURHAM RESIDENTS MAY VOTE PER STATE STATUTE
DATE: Thursday, February 13, 2020
TIME: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (park and walk in for your printed ballot)
LOCATION: Rhythms Live Music Hall, 2020 Chapel Hill Rd Suite 33, Durham, NC 27707, in the Lakewood Shopping Center, with plenty of free parking. The Durham County Bar Association CLE will be taking place that day in the same venue.

The nomination process concluded at 6:25 p.m. on February 13, 2020 with vote counting at Rhythms Live Music Hall in Durham, at 2020 Chapel Hill Rd Suite 33, Durham, NC 27707.
