SIXTEENTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT BAR
The State of North Carolina is divided into Judicial Districts. A licensed attorney must belong to a district Bar in order to maintain good standing as an active attorney in North Carolina. You may belong to only one mandatory district Bar, either in the location of your residence or the location of your employment, but not both. JD 16 (formerly JD 14) is comprised entirely of Durham County, North Carolina.
