CLE Presentation: Mastering Conflicts of Interest
Loyalty, confidentiality, and independent judgment form the basis of every lawyer-client relationship. Join Lawyers Mutual senior claims attorney Warren Savage, for a discussion of recent case law, ethics opinions, and hypotheticals on conflicts of interest traps that often arise in professional malpractice cases and grievance claims.

About the Speaker:
Warren Savage joined Lawyers Mutual as claims counsel in 2005 and was named Senior Claims Counsel in May 2018. He focuses on litigation, insurance law, appellate advocacy, criminal matters and professional responsibility. A former partner with the law firm of Bailey & Dixon, Warren graduated from the University of Virginia and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before graduating magna cum laude from Campbell University School of Law. He spent several years as a high school English teacher and junior varsity basketball coach before entering the legal profession. Warren is quite active in the legal community and speaks frequently at CLEs around the state about professional responsibility and malpractice claims avoidance. He recently completed his service as an NC State Bar Council for District 10.
